About Kühlungsborn
Kühlungsborn originated as a town in 1938 from the merger of the villages Arendsee, Brunshaupten and Fulgen, in which the bathing business had taken a steady boom since 1881.
The special feature of our seaside resort is the 4 km long promenade, behind the 30-meter-wide beach and a forest strip, with the concert gardens East and West form the end points.
The Europa-Hotel is located directly at the Konzertgarten Ost.
Unmistakable is the resort architecture of the turn of the century built hotels, pensions and public buildings.
Also the 130 hectare city forest, the districts East, Middle and West is unique. The 240 m long pier was completed in 1991.
